If you have a speculative enquiry from a potential new client / sales lead and you want to record some time for work done – in case they become an actual client.
In the Command Centre there is a new menu item called “Client Enquiries”
Clicking on this will show the Client Enquiries screen
From here if you click on the “create enquiry” button – you can setup your prospect very quickly with limited information.
This will in turn create you a new enquiry matter (in this case matter 8)
You may now record time against this matter – the client is called ENQ and the matter number is your matter number – in the case of this example you will record time against ENQ-8.
If the prospective client instructs and becomes an actual client then you can ask Cashiers if they would transfer all the time from (in this case ENQ-8) to the new matter.
If the client decides not to proceed there is a button in the main enquiry window “Not Proceeding / Remove” which will delete the entire enquiry from the system.
There is no limit to how many enquiry matters you can have
